Is it sexist for Judge Tyrie Boyer to say “not that woman from Orlando”? “That woman from Orlando” has a PhD. Would Judge Tyrie Boyer say “that man from Orlando” or would he refer to him as a Dr since he had a PhD?
One doesn’t know the answer, but having a sitting Judge refer to a Dr as “that woman” comes across as a mighty sexist Judge in our book.
The FBI has made it no secret that it hates Apple and Google’s efforts to encrypt files in your smartphones and tablets.
…
The paperwork has shown two cases where federal prosecutors have cited the All Writs Act – which was enacted in 1789 as part of the Judiciary Act – to force companies to decrypt information on gadgets.

Take the latest moment of hilarity, er, clarity from the Justice Department, in which a communications aide to Attorney General Eric Holder mistakenly called Republicans on the HouseOversight and Government Reform Committee when he meant to call Democrats. The aide, Brian Fallon, told staffers he was calling to see if they could leak information to friendly reporters and give the Justice Department a chance to comment before the majority got their hands on it.When he realized his error, committee staffers say Mr. Fallon came back on the line to say, oh, sorry, there has been a change of plans and Justice wouldn’t share the information after all. Mr. Fallon has since said it is perfectly normal to call Congressional Republicans and Democrats, though he does deserve a place in the dimwit government hall of fame.

We have written about others who belong in the dimwit government hall of fame, there are certainly plenty of them who play fast and lose with the law in order to obtain power.
In Judge Tyrie Boyer’s Courtroom, agreements are optional. They are more guidelines than something that is to be followed. Unless of course, they involve paying money to a woman.
In the opinion of the court.com staff, Judge Tyrie Boyer is one of the worst judges in the State.
Indiana Appellate Judge John G. Baker: “It was Judge Ezra H. Friedlander who filed the Anonymous Decision in Brewington Divorce Appeal.”
Imagine if Justice Breyer or Justice Scalia could muzzle people criticizing them? It would be an outrage. And yet, power-hungry, circle-the-wagons Judges in Indiana are muzzling people. It is sickening in the United States that this could occur. It sounds Banana-Republic-esque. Perhaps that describes the Indiana Judiciary. In Court.com’s opinion, they should be ashamed of themselves.
