The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Patricia A. Jennings as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters across the country.
“It gives me great pleasure to honor Patricia with this prestigious award,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her clients and community.”
A mediator and collaborative law facilitator at Hatch & Jennings, Inc., Ms. Jennings specializes in dispute resolution. Her areas of expertise include dispute resolution in family matters, and local and regional land use development and conservation disputes. In her role as a facilitator, Ms. Jennings works with attorneys and clients, helping them find ways to move forward toward amicable solutions.
“I act as a mediator and collaborative law coach. I did graduate work with Harvard Law,” said Ms. Jennings. “I love what I’m doing. I’ve seen so many times where someone says, ‘There is no way I’m going to agree to that!’ but with time, discussion and sharing information, they may end up crafting solutions that exceed their initial expectations. A majority of times, people get to a better place than where they started.”
Ms. Jennings credits her success for facilitating people’s resolve to her listening, creativity and patience. She honed these skills during her nearly 40 years as a Regional Land Use Planner and Maine State Court Mediator. Ms. Jennings is currently involved with the Maine Association of Mediators, the Maine Collaborative Law Alliance and the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council.
NAPW’s mission is to provide an exclusive, highly advanced networking forum to successful women executives, professionals and entrepreneurs where they can aspire, connect and achieve. Through innovative resources, unique tools and progressive benefits, professional women interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other.
